Jeff Alt will take you back in time at Newfound Gap in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He will share historical stories about the creation of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, including a visit with the president of the United States. You will meet a few legendary people who have walked the Appalachian Trail and more. Based on Jeff Alt’s books, The Adventures of Bubba Jones: Time Traveling through the Great Smoky Mountains and his Appalachian Trail book, A Walk for Sunshine.
